Marleen Huysman speaking at the next edition of NRC Live |
During the recent World Economic Forum, better known as Davos 2018, it became very clear that Artificial Intelligence (AI) will have such an impact on our future society that we need to reimagine our educational programs in order to prepare us for the new economy. In fact, Google CEO Sundar Pichai stated that “AI is probably the most important thing humanity has ever worked on. I think of it as something more profound than electricity or fire”.
It’s increasingly clear that AI will change the current offering of products and services. it is not clear yet however, as to what extent we will be impacted by this disrupting technology.

Today, we are able to execute more and more tasks through machines, which influences the current and future business of many organizations, but how exactly does this change affect organizations? And where do you start as a business leader?
On 21 June 2018, the NRC Live conference will address these issues, and provide a deeper understanding of AI. At the conference, influencing speakers from science, heads of industry and policy will separate fact from fiction, and provide insights on how to innovate with AI. Furthermore, they will address important risks and ethical issues that should be considered. As the Head of KIN, professor Marleen Huysman will be one of the speakers at this conference. She will address the topic of AI from her perspective as a researcher on the consequences of digital innovations in work and organizations and as advocate of the Digital Society. Interested in attending, or do you want to find out more about NRC Live? Read more. |
