VU launches Research Center for Board and Executive Leadership Development |
On Tuesday, May 21, the Department of Management and Organization launched the Research Center for Board and Executive Leadership Development at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. |
|
|
|
The launch was marked by the Center’s first Research Colloquium on Board and Executive Leadership Development, which will be followed by a Research Colloquium in December 2019, and an international conference in May 2020. Anyone who is interested in presenting scholarly research on the topics of board and executive leadership development can contact Prof. dr. Svetlana Khapova for more information.

PhD position in behavioral auditing research |
The Accounting department at SBE has a vacancy for a PhD candidate with an interest in the auditing profession and a strong motivation to examine ways in which audit quality can be improved using predominantly behavioral theory and methods.
|
|
|
|
Possible topics include (but are not limited to) regulation, organizational climate, audit team collaboration, and interactions with audit committees. The exact PhD topic will be defined during the first six months in collaboration with the selected candidate.
The appointment will initially be for 1 year. After a satisfactory evaluation of the initial appointment, the contract will be extended for a total duration of 4 years. For the full text of the vacancy please click here.

Young scholars from around the world will meet to discuss pressing societal issues linked to sustainability, corporate social responsibility and social entrepreneurship. The programme is now available on the conference website. We look forward to an exciting event in June! |
