Application Deadline Volunteer Reshaping Work - 15 September |
Reshaping Work 2019, an annual conference that brings academics, business leaders, policymakers, labor union representatives, and platform workers together to jointly discuss the most relevant issues in the platform economy is currently looking for volunteers! Volunteers are expected to support for one full day and assist at the registration desk as well as at the event venue during the sessions. In return, they will be offered a free ticket to the conference for the other day, thus have the opportunity to attend sessions and network with some of the leading companies in the platform economy. SBE ranks top 75 in Business Administration and Management in Shanghai Ranking |

KIN Research’s Marleen Huysman wins prestigious NWO grant to follow AI from development in the lab to its use on the work floor, to develop a collaborative methodology for augmenting knowledge work.
Professor Marleen Huysman, head of the KIN group at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, was awarded a prestigious national grant from the NWO’s Open Competition. The research will follow AI from development in the lab to its use on the work floor to develop a collaborative methodology for augmenting knowledge work.

Marjo Lips-Wiersma visiting professor |
Marjo will be visiting professor until October 18. She is from the Netherlands but moved to New Zealand 30 years ago where she also did her PhD. |
|

Her research is at the interface of Human Behavior and Ethics/Sustainability and at present her research focuses on how the need for a more sustainable future can match he need for a more meaningful life. She is a full Professor in New Zealand, supervices a numer of PhD students, co-coordinates the university’s sustainability programs and has published in journals such as JOB, LQ and JMS. |
