Business and Society Research Seminar 2019 - 19/21 June
On June 19-21 ABRI together with the M&O department will host the Business & Society Research Seminar 2019.
Young scholars from around the world will meet to discuss pressing societal issues linked to sustainability, corporate social responsibility and social entrepreneurship. The programme is now available on the conference website.
 
PhD Defence Daniel Sagath - 26 June
Daniel Sagath will defend his thesis titled "Entrepreneurship in the Dutch space sector: The role of institutional logics, legitimacy and business incubation" on 26 June at 09:45 in the Aula. Please click here for more information. The defence will be followed by an symposium.
 
Seminar Bart Frijns - 21 June

Bart Frijns will hold a seminar titled "Individualism, deeply-rooted overconfidence and analyst information production". It wil be held 21 June from 12:15 till 13:15 in room 7A-16.

Symposium Entrepreneurship and innovation in the space sector - 26 June
This symposium discusses policies and practices related to the management and performance of entrepreneurship and innovation in the space sector. The symposium presentations will be related to the results of a study sponsored by ESA and the Netherlands Space Office (PhD study by Daniel Sagath defended in the morning, starting at 9.45). Presenters during the symposium are: prof.dr. Thomas Hoerber (ESSCA), prof.dr.ir. Isabelle Reymen (TU/e), Ntorina Antoni (TU/e), prof.dr. Kai-Uwe Schrogl (ESA), and representatives of the Netherlands Space Office. The symposium will be organized by facilitated by prof.dr. Joep Cornelissen, dr. Christina Giannopapa and dr. Elco van Burg.

KIN Talk Cybersecurity Jaya Baloo - 28 June
Jaya Baloo is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of KPN Telecom in the Netherlands. She is recognized in 2017 as one of the top 100 CISO’s globally. Jaya works with an amazing information security team of highly driven specialists.  Working in the information security arena for the past 18 years, she has worked mostly for global telecommunications companies such as Verizon and France Telecom. Jaya is also a frequent speaker at security conferences on subjects around lawful interception, mass surveillance, and cryptography.
