CIGAR Conference 13/14 June
The 17th Biennial Conference of the Comparative International Governmental Accounting Research (CIGAR) Network will be held at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, on 13 and 14 June. This conference is jointly organized by the CIGAR Network, the Amsterdam Research Center in Accounting and the Zijlstra Center for Public Control, Governance & Leadership. The organizing committee consists of Tjerk Budding (chair), Tom Groot, Bram Faber, Vinitha Siebers, and Patrizia Abinta.
The theme of the conference is Alternative views on Public Sector Accounting and Financial Management. For more information please click here.
 
Business and Society Research Seminar 2019 - 19/21 June
On June 19-21 ABRI together with the M&O department will host the Business & Society Research Seminar 2019.
Young scholars from around the world will meet to discuss pressing societal issues linked to sustainability, corporate social responsibility and social entrepreneurship. The programme is now available on the conference website. We look forward to an exciting event!

ABRI barbecue closure of another very successful year
 

As a closure of this great and very successful academic year, on Tuesday, June 11, ABRI office organized the annual barbecue for the whole ABRI research community (and beyond).

The barbecue was a nice occasion for everyone to reflect on all the great projects, publications, new educational programmes and other successes that have been achieved this year, as well as to hear about everyone’s fresh and exciting plans for the next academic year.
