Matthias Gnägi (University of Bern) will present his paper titled: “Mandatory Compensation Clawbacks: Do Directors Reimburse Managers for Compensation Recoveries that Managers may Perceive as Unfair?”.

People interested in Executive Education are cordially invited to attend SBE's Open Evening on Thursday 28 November. Professors, lecturers and scientists of various education programs will be on hand. You can sign up for presentations and we are ready to answer all your questions. |

Presentations will be held in the the VU's main building at De Boelelaan 1105, 1081 HV, Amsterdam. Hall numbers will be announced in due time. Reception starts at 18:00 with coffee and a sandwich in the foyer of the Agorazalen.

Prof. Mo Wang: colloquium on retirement |
Last Monday, ABRI Visiting Professor Mo Wang (University of Florida) gave a colloquium on working after retirement. |
|
|
|
Working after retirement has become a prevalent phenomenon in countries that experience the trend of population aging. By taking a multilevel perspective, Mo examines how various psychological forces and environmental constraints shape this phenomenon.
Mo will visit the department of Management and Organisation until November 15 and will be back in March 2020. During his stay, he will be involved in various activities and will work with faculty members on research projects. |

Conference Reshaping Work |

Reshaping Work is an innovative international and multi-stakeholder events series discussing the latest trends concerning digital trends and the future of work by promoting research and collective thinking. On 24 and 25 October the conference on Platform Economy took place in Amsterdam. Keynote speakers were Pinar Ozcan, Jeremias Adams-Prassl, Mei Li Vos and Roberto Viola.
