Call for Papers Deadline Small Group Meeting - 8 December

The conference “Towards inclusive careers across the lifespan: Integrating HRM and careers perspectives” will be held on March 9, 2020 at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

We welcome everyone who wishes to participate in the SGM to submit an extended abstract (around 800 words) by December 8, 2019. Applicants should include the title and institutional affiliation in the abstract and send it to j.akkermans@vu.nl. Notification of acceptance will be sent by December 20, 2019.

Research Seminar Marleen Dielemann - 10 December
On Tuesday, December 10, at 12:30 in the pantry 4th floor, Marleen Dielemann, Associate professor at NUS Business School of the National University of Singapore, will give a presentation of her paper which she has written together with Indri Dwi Apriliyanti Faculty of Social and Political Science, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia and Trond Randøy of International Management Department, School of Business and Law, University of Agder, Norway.The paper is titled "Pandering to Politicians: A Multiple Agency Perspective on State-Owned Enterprises in Emerging Markets". Sibel Ozasir Kacar will hold her presentation titled "Entrepreneurial Diversity: Contextual variety of entrepreneurial identities and experiences"
The Research Seminar will take place on Tuesday, December 10, from 16:00 – 17:00 in room HG 5A-37. Drinks will follow the seminar at 17:00 in The Basket.

Colloquium for scholars on Boards and Executive Leadership Development - 9 December
The VU center for Boards and Executive Leadership Development has the pleasure to invite boards and executive leadership scholars and PhD students to the second PhD colloquium on Monday, 9 December (13:00 – 18:30) at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam.
During this event the center welcomes academics, PhD candidates, and executives from different disciplines who are interested in presenting scholarly research on the topics of board and executive leadership development, and to share ideas or work in progress on relevant matters with fellow scholars, faculty members and other PhD students.
