Marilieke Engbers presents research finding on the unsaid in the boardroom at VTW
On Friday, April 6, ABRI Part-time PhD candidate Marilieke Engbers, presented the preliminary findings of her research into “The unsaid and decision making in boards” to an audience of 120 board members at VTW (Vereniging voor Toezichthouders in Woningcorporaties).

For her research, Marilieke interviewed 119 board members about what they did not say during the 36 board meetings, which she attended as an observer. Furthermore, she conducted an online survey that helps her further understand how the unsaid shapes decision-making in boards.

The conference at VTW was fully booked, and was so well received that the event will be repeated on June 29, from 10:00 – 12:00 at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. If you want to learn more about her research on the unsaid and decision making in boards, please find more information here or send an email to Niki Konijn (n.m.konijn@vu.nl).
