New Year’s Dive
Scandinavian Winter in Scheveningen New Year’s Dive
During the 3-day Scandinavian Winter festival from 28 to 30 December visitors can discover the culture of our Nordic neighbours on the beach of Scheveningen. The perfect moment for cosy activities like drinking Glühwein, warming up by a crackling fire and enjoying delicious food.
The annual tradition of the New Year’s Dive (Nieuwjaarsduik) will be taken by some 10,000 people in the icy cold waters of the North Sea by the Pier at Scheveningen. It’s the ideal way to begin 2015 in a refreshing way.
