ABRI PhD Day 2019 was a success |
At the 2019 edition of the PhD Day, March 19, four ABRI PhD candidates presented their work in progress to the greater ABRI community.
Rowena Blokker (OB), Dennis van Kampen (KIN), Lauren Waardenburg (KIN) and Melissa Twemlow (OB) all delivered impressive presentations.
Later prof. dr. Paul Jansen, dr. Fleur Deken, prof. dr. Marleen Huysman and prof. dr. Wouter Stam revealed what they wish they knew when they were doing their PhD.

On March 14-15 Christopher Wicker hosted the second meeting of the research network "Grand Challenges & New Forms of Organizing".
At this meeting (https://lnkd.in/dU8ZrKs) it was discussed how societal challenges like climate change and the SDGs could be addressed by innovative ways of organizing, and how scholars could generate societal impact through their research, teaching and involvement with practitioners.
