| Martin Luther King Lecture - 28 November |
We cordially invite you to the 2019 Martin Luther King Lecture on 28 November from 7:30pm to 9:15pm that will be held in the Auditorium of the Main Building, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
The lecture will be devoted entirely to game-changers. Young people who put their heart and soul into actually doing something about the major challenges of our time – issues like migration, social inequality, waste reduction and climate change. Their actions are helping to mobilize the public and politicians.

| Agota Szabo successfully defended her thesis |
On 20 November Agota Szabo successfully defended her thesis titled "Adoption of governance practices in hospitals: The role of directors’ multi-level frames in the governance decision-making process in the boardroom".

| Agota Szabo is a University Lecturer in board governance and organizational behaviour at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. Next to this position, Agota was a Ph.D. candidate at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, VU University Amsterdam. She holds a Master's degree in International Business Administration from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University and a Bachelor’s degree in European Studies. Her research interests lie in board behaviour and good governance practices of the boardroom. |
